Start with what the project needs.
A music video, a short film and an artist introduction each need a different approach. We start with the idea, where the video will be seen and what needs to be captured. From there we work through locations, people, lighting, sound and the shoot itself.
From filming to the finished piece.
Before filming, we plan the shots and the practical details. During the shoot, we capture the performances, interviews or scenes the project needs, along with supporting footage for the edit. Editing brings those pieces together into a video with a clear direction and a pace that suits the story.
DaVinci Resolve Studio / Editing and Color Services
We edit and color our projects in DaVinci Resolve Studio. That includes choosing takes, arranging the footage and working on the look of the finished piece. Color work helps the shots sit together while supporting the feeling you want. We also discuss editing and color services for footage you have already filmed.
North Port, Venice and Southwest Florida.
Black Sparrow is based in North Port. We film in the studio and discuss location projects around Sarasota and Southwest Florida. For live music videos, we can also use our stage in Venice. Share the idea and the location so we can plan the equipment, access and timing together.

Revisions and small fixes.
One full revision is included. Corrections for technical mistakes or things missed or overlooked in the editing process are included. Further creative changes and extended work are billed separately.

Can you edit footage I have already filmed?
Yes. Get in touch about editing and color services. Send a description of the footage, the finished piece you want and any references so we can agree on the work involved.
How is a video project priced?
The price depends on filming, locations, people, editing and the finished versions you need. We discuss the scope before booking. No fixed production package is published.
